IDMS OPTIMIZATION RESULTS

The optimization results for Cement Mill intervals of ~6 months per process.
The optimization results for Kiln intervals of ~6 months per process.

*The Differential Evolution global optimization method was used.

Based on the above, in both processes on average the objective function after optimization in total is improved compared with its real value from the historical data.

The project SIROKO was implemented in the context of the Action RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE and co-financed by the European Union and national resources through the OP. Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPANEK).

The project started in June 2021 and is expected to be completed in December 2023.

Scientific co-ordinator is Dr. Dimitrios Tzovaras from CERTH/ITI.
